Westerly Threshold Singers

The Chorus of Westerly is proud to host the Westerly chapter of Threshold Singers International.

Threshold Choir is a national volunteer organization that was born out of the HIV/AIDS crisis of the early 1990’s. Founder, Kate Munger, developed a specific kind of singing to be sung at bedside for those on the ‘threshold of life”.

This body of repertoire supports those who are at the threshold of living and the threshold of dying.

The Westerly Threshold Singers are an on-call volunteer ensemble available to come and conduct bedside sings in hospice or end-of-life care environments.

Threshold singing is provided upon request, free of charge. There is no criteria for eligibility, and anyone can request a bedside sing for themselves or on behalf of a loved one.
