There will be no in-person Kent Hall concerts through at least September 1, 2021
We are hopeful to offer regular in-person performances in our hall again at some point this fall. At this time, the Chorus is planning on a Summer Pops 2021 taking place at the end of the summer (in September) in Wilcox Park - subject to conditions being appropriate and permissions being granted.
Please note everything is subject to change or adjustment at anytime because of the fluid situation of the public health crisis.
THE CHORUS & KENT HALL OFFICES
Based on the current COVID conditions and recommendations, the George Kent Performance Hall and Chorus offices will remained closed on a regular basis to the general public. However, we will be gradually reopening later this spring with a timeline to be announced. In the meantime, we will continue to conduct most business virtually.
We are resuming very limited, in-person, rehearsals for our Chorus children and teens beginning in mid-April.
Of course both tour gradual re-opening and these rehearsals are subject to conditions continuing to be on the right track and our plans to do so being approved. As such, we note our plans could change at any moment without notice.
Regardless of what we end up doing in-person this spring, we will continue to be offering all of our virtual offerings through the end of the semester.
As Kent Hall will still remain closed to the public for now, members of the public will not be allowed to come into Kent Hall without appointment. However, we will still able to accept mail and you can still drop off donations to us. Come to our rear glass doors during weekday business hours after 10 am and you can leave items securely for us in our vestibule's mail bin (between the glass doors).
Chorus staff are mostly working remotely, but our phone lines are staffed again. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays you call our regular office number at 401.596.8663 between 11 am and 1 pm. You can leave a message for us at other times on that line. On Wednesdays, you can call 401-340-0308 (our mobile number).
If you have an inquiry that can be sent via email, we strongly encourage you to do so. Please email Genvieve Spitale at email@example.com. If you have any billing question, email Bookkeeper Carrie Praeger at firstname.lastname@example.org.
